Jenifer Harmen, Ed & LaVanna's oldest daughter, in Airdrie, Alberta is having surgery on her thigh this morning... Friday March 17.06, at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary.

She developed pain and a rash with welts in her upper leg a couple days ago... it has steadly gotten worse, inspite of antibiotics.

The doctors think it is Necrotizing fasciitis (NF), commonly known as "Flesh eating disease"
It is a serious Strep A bacterial infection, that can strike anyone.
